Job Summary
The Network and UC team is a Global team spread all around the globe, allowing to manage cross regional topics. The Network Operations team leader will be involved in the operation of the Global Network strategy and will be accountable for managing the high availability networks infrastructure and associate operational services in line with the agreed Service Level Targets.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Team lead
Responsibility for direct supervision of Network & UC Operations team members
Leads, manages and coordinates a team of Network engineers
Defines the skills and talents for Network engineers team members
Responsible for the overall training and development for Network engineers team members
Provide direction and leadership to build process-focused, cross-functional team
Manage scheduling, workload and operational work streams to optimize service delivery
Address technical and non-technical escalations
Develops, motivates, and directs Network engineer team members to create a team environment
Ensure proper implementation and procedures appliance
Ensure safety culture in daily operation for all team members
Incident and Event Management
Responsible for ensuring efficient resolution of incidents & problems through people, process and technology, based on ITIL process.
Provide timely, accurate, and effective communication on service impacting events.
Work with vendors on issue resolution and communications.
In liaise with the IT customer Care team, improvement tickets and service request management & escalation process.
Enterprise Monitoring
Responsible for the process to effectively monitor all services that ensure compliance with standards, best practices and SLAs.
Report on key metrics of availability, incident resolution and service delivery performance, through close Service Level Agreements (SLA) definition & follow up.
Responsible for toolsets required to provide event management services.
Continuous improvement
Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout their respective technical domain
Ensure that the networking system runs efficiently without interruption.
Ensure CMDB data consistency.
Lead network life cycle management.
Manage and document Standards, Policies, Processes, sites architecture for the Network and UC.
Perform regular process improvement reviews to ensure ongoing optimization.
Contribute to audit findings, related to network, remediation.
Coordinate monthly clean up process of the monitoring tool.
Generates processes to ensure appropriate WAN, LAN, device privileges and access are granted, ensuring data integrity and security is met
Work with others to create, develop and maintain business continuity and contingency plans including disaster recovery plans, communication and escalation plans, and emergency operations plans and business continuity plans.
Administrative tasks
Perform maintenance & licenses follow up & renewal process
Have a close follow up on bills and spending.
In liaison with Network operation Manager, contribute to vendors management & relationship.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
University degree in the field of IT and telecommunications systems
Fluent english (spoken, written, read)
3 to 5 years experience managing telecommunication engineers and staff
Previous managerial experience in worldwide environment
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including IP, Ethernet, , Cisco Wifi, Palo Alto firewalls and Global Protect VPN client, Palo Alto Prisma, Forcepoint URL filtering, BGP, MPLS, SDWAN, SASE, …
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to learn from other experienced team members
