Description

EPAM Greece is looking for a Java TechLead to join our engineering team in Athens.

Our client is one of the largest banks in Greece, providing a wide range of banking and financial services to individuals, businesses, and corporations.

They have implemented several bank internal processes for Front and Back office (like risk management, loans, mortgages) on IBM FileNet platform. The client is enhancing the current BPM system andEPAM teams are taking part the digital transformation process of the clients organization.

Responsibilities

Develop architecture together with the client's Solution Architect
Collaborate with the BA to map business requirements to the capabilities of the platform (FileNet BPM + Java-based integrations + UI framework)
Lead an implementation team (Java engineer, UI developer, FileNet developer, QA, BA)
Act as a facilitator for the team to ensure that technical implementation details are defined and well understood, and conduct code reviews
Review implemented solutions

Requirements

Deep knowledge and 5+ years of practical experience with the Java platform

Solid team-leading experience

Strong understanding of development principles and paradigms

Good knowledge and practical experience with Spring and microservices

Able to work independently and mindfully as part of a cohesive cross-functional Agile team

Willingness to learn the current BPM platform at a high level

B2 English level (to communicate comfortably with the international team)

Fluent Greek (communication with the clients team on a daily basis)

Nice to have

Understanding of BPM solutions such as IBM FileNet
