Supply Chain & Operations Consultant

The opportunity

As a Supply Chain & Operations Consultant, you will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to projects that span various industries, building valued relationships with external clients and internal peers by applying your academic background, a consulting mindset and personal skills to deliver meaningful results. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow through hands-on experience on a variety of engagements across multiple geographies, working on clients’ sites and EY offices.

Your key responsibilities

As a Supply Chain & Operations Consultant, you will take part in demanding projects with local, regional and global reach, and you will:

• Assist in data collection and validation, and perform data analyses applying state of the art AI tools to identify gaps and improvement opportunities to achieve operational excellence, increased resilience and sustainability performance
• Take part in client meetings and interview client stakeholders to understand their business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Document business requirements, develop process flows and design / redesign processes using AI technologies, across logistics & fulfilment, manufacturing, planning and procurement domains, frequently as part of cross-functional EY teams.
• Gather & analyze benchmarks and leading practices from Global & Regional sources of EY network and contribute in defining clients’ future state performance targets.
• Support in the development, design and modeling of innovative future state scenarios for clients’ operations, collaborating with an extended eco-system of internal and external partners.
• Support clients’ in implementing new supply chain strategies, operating models and processes, frequently working on clients’ offices and sites as part of joint EY and client’s teams.

What we look for

• Excellent academic background, including a Bachelor and / or Master’s degree in STEM or Business domains, ideally with a specialization in Supply Chain & Operations Management.
• Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, for modelling, design or simulation, ideally with relevant certifications
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications with relevant trainings, certifications or practical proof of expertise.
• Knowledge, and ideally certification, in using Copilot and / or other GenAI tools will be consider as a strong asset.
• Excellent written and spoken English required; Strong skills in German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Spanish are a plus.
• Working experience (up to 5 years) in Management Consulting or in business analysis roles in a corporate environment within supply chain & operations management will be considered as a plus.

Ideally you ‘ll also have

• Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau or any other relevant tools)
• Network Design tools ( Coupa Supply Chain Guru/ Llamasoft, AnyLogic/Anylogistix or any other relevant tools)
• Logistics design, simulation and modelling tools (, AutoCAD, , FlexSim, Simio).
• Logistics & Fulfilment tools (, WMS, TMS, YMS)
• Supply chain tools to enable transformation in IBP/S&OP, Demand & Supply, Inventory Management, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Operational Procurement processes.
