A Natural Gas Distribution Network Operator: Investments Controller

The Investments Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and supporting the progress of Company projects of a technical nature (construction, innovation, operational... in the DSO's area of responsibility), ensuring compliance with the deadlines, costs, quality and strategic objectives. The role acts as an interface between the DSO and the Finance Function, ensuring transparency and control over the progress of projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the progress of the projects entrusted to the DSO, highlighting any deviations from time, budget and deliverables.
• Periodically prepare management reports on the progress of projects
• Support Project Managers in defining and updating project plans, identifying critical issues and proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Finance Function for the analysis and control of project costs, forecast management and investment verification.
• Ensure consistency of projects with business strategy
• Implement project controlling tools and methodologies (KPIs, milestones, dashboards, reporting systems)
• Provide support to the decision-making process through quantitative and qualitative analyses of projects

Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or related disciplines.
• At least 3–5 years' experience in project controlling or project management roles, preferably in technical, engineering, or construction settings.
• Excellent knowledge of project management and management control methodologies.
• Advanced skills in the use of reporting tools, Excel and project management software.
• Analytical skills, problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and predisposition to work in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in English
