Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview :

The position of Engineer reports to the Plant Manager, and has primary responsibility for all onsite Engineering and Maintenance.

The suitable candidate will have a proven background in successfully implementing Engineering process improvements, developing preventative / predictive maintenance strategies alongside breakdown repairs, lean manufacturing, process improvement, and health and safety to the highest standards and ensuring compliance with EHS.

The individual must have a strong safety, EHS, and technical background and a high level of experience in industrial environmental issues.He / she should have leadership skills and be able to work with partners to install new equipment as well as optimise existing equipment. Project management skills are considered a necessary qualification.

Primary Responsibilities :

• The ability to operate with a hands-on approach.
• Responsible for coordinating capital projects, contractors, and subordinates.
• Ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget along with the efficient day-to-day.
• Identifying all stakeholders in the project with clear roles.
• To provide a good service and repair program that will assist the production team in maintaining the level of production and keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Independently develops plans for the solution of processing problems.
• Serves as project team leader as needed to accomplish project goals.
• Sign as a safety engineer to the Ministry of Industry as demanded by Greek law.
• Gather all information and update the various EHS and operations reports (monthly safety report, sustainability report, compliance calendar report, non-financial metrics report, etc.).
• Be informed and apply the training for global incidents and injuries as reported in the HB Fuller procedures.
• Apply safety and environmental audits.
• Reporting to the local authorities annually as demanded by Greek law (annual disposal report and ELSTAT surveys).
• Sign as a wastewater unit operator to the Ministry of Industry as required by the environmental license and by Greek law.
• Apply the operation of the Wastewater Unit, aiming at the activity increase (daily treatment water disposal output increase and improving the quality characteristics of disposal water).
• Responsibilities for the maintenance of the equipment, land, and buildings of the site as required by Greek law.
• Organising equipment’s spare parts management system and ensuring all critical spare parts policies are established.
• Fulfilling responsibilities as a safety engineer of the plant as required by the law and H.B. Fuller’s standards.
