What you will do in this role:
- Financial Reporting & Review
- Review subsidiaries’ quarterly financial statements for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group policies.
- Support annual audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with external auditors.
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Liaise with subsidiaries’ accountants on financial, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Prepare quarterly compliance certificates and related submissions for banks and regulatory bodies.
- Assist with tax matters by gathering documentation and coordinating with external advisors.
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Support cashflow forecasting, liquidity planning, and weekly/monthly cash position reporting.
- Book and monitor time deposits and short-term investments.
- Contribute to the smooth execution of treasury operations.
- Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Help update and improve financial processes, policies, and internal controls.
- Monitor compliance with group policies across subsidiaries.
- Cross-Functional & Ad Hoc Support
- Provide financial analysis and support on ad hoc projects from the Financial Director.
- Maintain accurate records while upholding confidentiality and data integrity.
Requirements
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Msc in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA)
- 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, treasury, financial analysis, or audit—ideally within a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, internal controls, compliance requirements, and best practices in financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders across different regions.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet modelling and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems; experience with treasury tools or reporting frameworks is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to assess complex financial data and propose practical solutions.
- A proactive, structured work approach, combined with the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
- Commitment to continuous learning, staying informed about financial regulations, accounting standards, and best-practice treasury methodologies.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
