- Network Management:
- Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network segments.
- Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability.
- Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Virtualization (VMware):
- Install, configure, and manage VMware environments.
- Ensure the optimal performance of virtual machines and resources.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to the VMware infrastructure.
- Firewall and Security (WatchGuard):
- Configure and manage WatchGuard firewalls to ensure network security.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Implement security protocols and best practices to protect data and systems.
- Backup and Recovery (Veeam):
- Implement and manage Veeam backup solutions to ensure data protection.
- Perform regular backup tests and disaster recovery drills.
- Maintain documentation for backup and recovery procedures.
- Systems Administration:
- Manage Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high levels of availability and security.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner.
- Technical Support:
- Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and clients.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Mentor and guide junior IT staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Project Management:
- Lead and participate in IT projects, from planning and execution to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Maintain project documentation and report progress to stakeholders.
