This is position is full time and hybrid, based in Athens.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Create and maintain optimal data pipelines, assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT processes from a wide variety of data sources using Microsoft technologies and Azure Databricks.
- Develop analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights aligned with key business performance metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Work closely with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality and innovation within the data systems.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record in building robust data solutions.
- Solid experience with Azure Databricks and the Azure cloud platform (DP-203 certification is a strong plus).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark, with experience in big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (Spark).
- Expertise in Data Warehousing and ETL principles, along with a solid understanding of data modeling.
- Understanding of Data Governance and data security best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to align technical insights with business objectives.
- Excellent command of both Greek and English.
