Job Purpose: The Global Product Manager is responsible for driving the development, marketing, and performance of assigned product categories across international markets. The role leads innovation projects, manages the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, and contributes to category growth by translating consumer, market, and business insights into successful product launches and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities/Results:

The job holder:

• Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the brand strategy, philosophy, product portfolio, category performance, consumer insights, competitive landscape, and market trends, translating insights into actionable recommendations for category growth.
• Leads the end-to-end development of new products, from concept to market launch, ensuring compliance with EU regulations, internal procedures, and the brand philosophy. Owns the execution of innovation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful launches on time and within scope.
• Owns and optimizes the product portfolio under his/her responsibility, driving lifecycle management initiatives including portfolio optimization, artwork revisions, packaging updates, formula adaptations, and continuous product improvements to meet regulatory requirements, business needs, and consumer expectations.
• Contributes to the definition of category strategy, product assortment, innovation pipeline, and global marketing plans by identifying opportunities and recommending initiatives aligned with business objectives and brand identity.
• Analyzes global sales performance, consumer insights, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities, evaluate business performance, and support strategic decision-making.
• Leads the execution of product launches and marketing initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of packaging, communication materials, point-of-sale (POS) materials, and all launch assets in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitors product and category performance throughout the product lifecycle, tracking KPIs, evaluating launch success, and recommending optimization actions to maximize business results.
• Acts as an APIVITA Brand Ambassador by presenting product launches, category strategies, and business recommendations to commercial teams, business partners, and during B2B or PR events.

Requirements

• BSc in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or a related field. Specialization in cosmetology is a plus.
• MSc in Marketing or MBA will be an asset
• Proven experience of 3–4 years in Product Marketing or Product Management, ideally within the cosmetics, skincare, personal care, or FMCG industry.
• Hands-on experience in new product development and product lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of consumer insights, market trends, category performance analysis, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), ERP systems, and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus (i.e. French or Spanish)
• Excellent communication, presentation, project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable recommendations.
• Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented.
