Deloitte’s ServiceNow Emerging Technologies professionals lead the technological development trend through consulting services oriented to developing new digital features for our clients on ServiceNow.

ServiceNow is the leading technology for enterprise service management and digital transformation within IT, HR, Customer Care and other business support processes.

During your tenure as a ServiceNow Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

• Interact with clients on a regular basis to understand their processes and business problems
• Bridge the gap between business processes and platform capabilities, designing and configuring optimal solutions for complete digitalization
• Be responsible for the solution validation and configuration process that translates digital process requirements into a fully functioning new application or feature on ServiceNow
• Work seamlessly within multi-functional teams, interacting with clients to understand their needs and building solutions that address them
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Ensure the integrity of the solution, i.e., is compliant with industry standards and regulations, the solution is secure, and that data privacy is maintained
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on large-scale, multiple-system implementations to ensure the ServiceNow solutions fit into the wider Enterprise technology landscape
• Identify and solve complex technical problems across the software development lifecycle
• Develop high-quality design and facilitation material/artefacts such as high-level architecture, low-level architecture, and workshop presentation material
• Review user stories to understand requirements and technical architecture documentation for solutions
• Create clear and concise technical documentation, technical design documentation, build/configuration documentation, and release notes
• Write scripts using JavaScript to implement business logic and improve user experience, while ensuring accuracy and reliability
• Develop an advanced understanding of ServiceNow development practices and proficiency in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Have a fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS
• Be responsible for unit testing and end-to-end testing of technical development and fix related defects until final deployment across sub-production and production environments

#WinningRequirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent, or in similar technical-scientific disciplines (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Biomedics, Economics)
• 2 or more years of experience in designing and implementing SaaS solutions
• Solid foundation in Programming languages (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS)
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and practices
• Solid foundation in ServiceNow IT Service Management, ServiceNow Asset Management, ServiceNow Customer Service, ServiceNow Field Service
• Knowledge of development of integrations leveraging point-to-point interfaces, Webservices (REST/SOAP), file-based transfers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Greek language
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable

Bonus qualifications:

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, ITSM, PPM, HRSD, CSM, etc.)
• Cybersecurity concepts understanding
• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, Oracle)
• Communication protocols knowledge (HTTP, JSON, API, etc.)
• Programming skills (SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript)
• Certified in ITIL v3 Foundation or higher certifications
• Experience in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript or Jelly including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, etc.
