As an Assistant Auditor, you are at the heart of our operations. This isn't just about ticking boxes; it’s about understanding how businesses tick. Working alongside experienced mentors in our Athens office, you will dive into diverse portfolios, unravel complex financial puzzles, and play a vital role in ensuring financial integrity for our clients.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Your days will be dynamic, analytical, and collaborative. Here is how you will make an impact:

• Support the Audit Lifecycle: Participate in a wide range of external audits and assurance engagements, from initial planning and fieldwork to final completion.
• Analyze & Investigate: Gather and review financial data, analyze prior-year files, and learn to identify key client operations and risk areas.
• Collaborate closely: Work hand-in-hand with senior auditors and cross-functional teams to collect, evaluate, and document critical financial evidence.
• Build Client Relationships: Communicate directly with clients to clarify accounting processes, gather information, and deliver exceptional, responsive service.
• Drive Excellence & Compliance: Ensure all working papers are accurate, compliant with professional standards, and aligned with our strict ethical principles.
• Think Innovatively: Contribute fresh ideas to improve our audit methodologies, identify client-side risks, and propose practical recommendations.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Business, or a related field (a relevant Master's is a strong plus).
• Prior internship or professional experience in auditing or accounting is a plus, not a requirement.
• Familiarity with Greek GAAP and/or IFRS, and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Fluent Greek and English, written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with a commitment to accuracy.
• The ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• A professional approach to confidentiality and sensitive information.
