Deloitte’s Controls Assurance team provides IT Controls Assurance services and Internal Audit, including reporting internal control remediation and testing, risk assessment support and impact assessment and reporting. Deloitte’s Controls Assurance capabilities include digital controls and are particularly relevant in supporting finance transformation projects.

Through these services we support businesses to enhance their internal controls over financial and non-financial corporate reporting to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

We also provide controls assessment solutions and guidance to first and second line for audit readiness, financial accounting and financial reporting, as well as deliver Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls modernization and rationalization, plus SOX uplift for new and emerging public companies.

#AboutYourRole

As an IT Audit Senior Consultant you will:

• Be part of a diverse team, you contribute to the growth of our Controls Assurance practice using your strategic insight and account management skills.
• Lead challenging and diversified assurance & advisory projects at large companies, as well as SME’s. Next to that, you will be working in different industries such as financial services, technology, telecom and others.
• Manage a team and perform in-depth assessments and related advisory to provide ISAE, SOC reports or similar, covering business processes, applications, and technology infrastructure for our clients together with your team.
• Evaluate and report on controls over the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, or privacy over information and systems across an entire entity or its subsidiaries.
• Providing strategic advice to senior client staff (CxO, Senior Risk/Security officers, …) on topics such as risk, audit, continuity, governance, quality, sourcing, analytics, etc. to enhance our client’s business value and effectiveness.
• Influence clients, teams and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people
• Understand key objectives for clients and Deloitte, align people to objectives and set priorities and direction.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements:

• Degree in Technical/Scientific subjects (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics with ICT address etc.).
• Strong understanding of Operating Systems , Data bases and IT environments ;
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken);
• Mastery of the Office package;
• Motivated with a positive attitude to work in team, solve problems and analytical mindset;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Ambition for further professional development.
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in IT Audits and ISAE Audits.
• Highly developed project and people management skills including experience with managing millennials.
• Highly developed project and people management skills including experience with managing millennials.
• Experience with managing projects end-to-end.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in financial services industry (banking, insurance, payments, fintechs, etc) is a plus.
• Knowledge on System Security (i.e. Firewalls) is a plus;
• Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, CISA, Prince2, CIA, etc. are a plus.
• Knowledge of French or Dutch will be considered a plus but is not mandatory to apply;
