Dutch Speaking Social Media Content Moderator Location: Athens, Greece (Office-Based) Protect the Digital Community in the Heart of Athens We are looking for a professional Dutch-speaking Content Moderator to join our international digital safety team at our state-of-the-art office hub in Athens. In this role, you will be at the forefront of digital security, ensuring that one of the world's largest social media platforms remains a safe and positive space for millions of Dutch-speaking users. Key Responsibilities Content Integrity: Review user-generated content (videos, images, and text) in Dutch to ensure strict compliance with platform policies and community standards. Incident Management: Identify and remove content involving hate speech, harassment, cyberbullying, or misinformation, acting with speed and precision. User Support: Address and resolve appeals from Dutch-speaking users regarding account restrictions, privacy settings, and content removals with professional clarity. Policy Application: Stay updated on evolving global digital safety regulations and apply them consistently across all moderation tasks. Collaborative Safety: Work on-site in our multicultural Athens office alongside digital safety experts to flag emerging trends and large-scale platform violations. Requirements Language: Native or C2-level Dutch and professional proficiency in English (B2/C1). Legal: Mandatory EU Passport or a valid permit to work in Greece. (Note: Residence permits from other EU member states are not valid for employment in Greece). Resilience: High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive or objective online content professionally. Location: Must be willing to work from our physical office in Athens (central location with excellent transit access and modern amenities). Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to make quick, informed decisions based on complex guidelines.
