Tax Technology Advisor

The opportunity

The Greek EY ΤΑΧ team was named " Greece Tax Advisory Firm of the Year" in the International Tax Review EMEA Tax Awards 2025 for the 15th time overall –and distinguished itself as a leader in TAX services in Greece.

We are currently seeking Tax Technology Professionals to support our Tax team and help our clients with digital tax projects and tax process automations at different industry sectors. Actively establish internal and external relationships and anticipate and identify risks within engagements. You will also be informed of professional standards and firm policies and procedures and effectively apply this knowledge to various client situations. Your key responsibilities

Everything you will do contributes into providing best-in-class tax services to our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you will be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you can become a Tax Advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries within and outside Greece.

You will join a high-performing team that supports tax audits and compliance engagements by analyzing financial and tax data through technology-enabled solutions. You will assist clients with myDATA compliance, e-transportation documents and e-invoicing requirements as well as broader tax digitalization initiatives. As part of a team that helps shape business strategies, you will strengthen your technical skills by leveraging digital technology with a global, innovative approach, and an analytical mindset.

To qualify for the role you must have

• 1 - 5 years of working experience in tax or accounting professional or tax technology field
• Strong academic record including a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or business administration or Banking and Finance or Information Systems or Computer Science
• Substantial MS office knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with myDATA, e-transportation documents, e-invoicing, ERP systems, or digital tax compliance processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills
• Strong teamwork and project management skills
• Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, details, and accuracy
• Self-motivation and drive to exceed expectations

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Working experience in a Big4 firm
• Postgraduate studies in Accounting and Auditing, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Information systems, Computer science
