Service Specialist (Mimi Kakushi)

Your Role in the Story

As a Service Specialist at LUURA you are responsible for delivering an exceptional Mimi Kakushi dining experience combining refined restaurant service with strong knowledge of Japanese-inspired cuisine culture and hospitality.

You represent the spirit of Omotenashi the Japanese philosophy of welcoming and caring for guests with genuine respect anticipation and attention to detail. You guide guests through the menu provide thoughtful recommendations and ensure that every dish and beverage is presented accurately and elegantly.

Working closely with the restaurant management kitchen bar and service teams you support the smooth operation of each service while upholding LUURA Mimi Kakushi and RIKAS standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dining experience.
• Deliver attentive and personalized service in line with the principles of Omotenashi and Mimi Kakushi service standards.
• Guide guests through the food and beverage menus explaining dishes ingredients preparation methods flavour profiles and Japanese dining traditions.
• Maintain strong knowledge of seasonal menus signature dishes chefs recommendations daily specials allergens and dietary requirements.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and clearly communicate allergies modifications and special requests to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Provide personalized menu recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements.
• Serve and present food and beverages promptly accurately and elegantly following the correct service sequence and restaurant procedures.
• Manage assigned tables or sections efficiently anticipating guest needs and maintaining clean organized and well-presented tables.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to requests feedback or concerns involving the Manager on Duty when necessary.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen bar Assistant Waiters and management team to ensure smooth timing and accurate service.
• Maintain awareness of reservations VIP guests celebrations allergies and special guest preferences.
• Attend daily briefings and remain informed about menu changes special dishes service priorities and operational updates.
• Support opening and closing procedures ensuring tables service stations equipment and guest areas are correctly prepared and maintained.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately following restaurant procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene organization and food safety throughout the service areas.
• Handle trays glassware ceramics tableware and service equipment carefully and safely.
• Contribute to memorable dining experiences through warm elegant knowledgeable and professional service.

Qualifications :

Who Were Looking For

• Previous experience in a guest-facing restaurant service role such as Waiter Chef de Rang or Service Specialist.
• Experience in Japanese Asian premium fine-dining luxury or lifestyle restaurant environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service procedures order taking table management service sequence billing and guest care.
• Genuine interest in Japanese cuisine culture ingredients dining traditions culinary trends and the art of hospitality.
• Ability to confidently explain menu items preparation methods flavour profiles allergens dietary options and chefs recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm engaging respectful and professional approach.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service with discretion and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen bar service and management teams.
• Ability to manage assigned tables or sections while maintaining accuracy efficiency and consistent service standards.
• Ability to remain calm organized and professional in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Confidence in handling guest requests feedback and service-related concerns appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in table presentation menu knowledge guest interaction and the overall dining experience.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and safely carry trays tableware and service equipment.
• Oral proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
• Well-presented polite professional respectful and composed at all times.
• Eligibility to work in EU countries.
