Key Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms in Norwegian, ensuring strict adherence to community guidelines and platform policies.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate harmful, abusive, or policy-violating content, including misinformation, hate speech, graphic material, and fraudulent activity targeting Norwegian-speaking audiences.
• Analyse patterns of suspicious behaviour, coordinated inauthentic activity, and potential threats to platform integrity within the social media environment.
• Make accurate, consistent, and well-reasoned decisions regarding content removal, account suspension, and user safety interventions in line with established trust and safety frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including policy, legal, and engineering departments to refine content moderation guidelines and improve safety protocols.
• Document and report recurring trends, emerging risks, and systemic issues to support continuous improvement of trust and safety operations across social media channels.
• Provide timely feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and consistency of content review processes for Norwegian-language markets.
• Maintain a high standard of mental resilience and professional judgement when handling sensitive, distressing, or complex content as part of daily social media moderation duties.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Norwegian language proficiency (both spoken and written) is essential for this role.
• Minimum English proficiency equivalent to a B2 level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new software tools.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to relocate and live in Sofia, Bulgaria.
