Description
Optimal on behalf of its clients Bleecker & Love a Greek lifestyle brand is seeking a Head of Brand & Retail Expansion.
We are looking for someone who wants real ownership: the person who takes Bleecker & Love from a beloved local brand into new retail partnerships new cities and new audiences.
The Head of Brand & Retail Expansion will own marketing and growth for Bleecker & Love end-to-end: creating and running marketing campaigns designing brand activations and building new retail and co-branding partnerships. This is a hands-on high-ownership role for someone who wants to build the next chapter of a growing handmade Greek brand.
Marketing & Campaigns:
Plan create and execute marketing campaigns across digital social and offline channels
Develop the content and communication calendar in line with brand identity and seasonal collections
Track campaign performance and adjust strategy based on results
Brand Activations:
Conceive and plan activations that build visibility and community around the brand
Coordinate execution with internal team and external suppliers/vendors
Retail Partnerships & Co-Branding:
Identify and approach retail stores concept stores and boutiques for new stocking and co-branding opportunities
Negotiate and manage terms of retail partnerships
Expand and manage relationships with existing partners (museums hospitality brands building on current collaborations)
Relationship-Building & Business Development:
Build and maintain a network of retail hospitality and brand contacts to fuel future collaborations
Represent Bleecker & Love at relevant industry events and meetings
Bring new partnership and expansion opportunities to the founder for decision-making
36 years in marketing brand management or retail/business development (fashion lifestyle or design-led brands preferred)
Track record of running marketing campaigns and/or building retail or partnership relationships
Experience planning events or brand activations is a strong plus
Comfortable operating solo in a small company wearing multiple hats
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in Greek and English (additional languages a plus given international expansion goals)
Based in or able to work hybrid from Athens
A consistent effective marketing campaign calendar driving brand awareness and sales
New retail/co-branding partnerships signed and active
A growing network of retail hospitality and brand relationships feeding future opportunities
High ownership and direct influence on brand direction and growth
Hybrid work arrangement based in Athens
A creative handmade-in-Greece brand with real international potential
