Job Description

Sika Hellas is seeking a Sales Engineer to strengthen its presence in the projects segment of the construction market. The successful candidate will drive sales efficiency in projects by developing Key Accounts and providing high-level technical support to major construction projects in the assigned area of responsibility.

Role Description :

  • Develop and grow sales within assigned areas, with a strong focus on Projects and Main Contractors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop existing Key Accounts to achieve sales and business growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide high-level technical support and after-sales service, ensuring that customer requirements are effectively addressed.
  • Understand project requirements and recommend appropriate Sika products and systems in cooperation with the relevant internal departments.
  • Work closely with the Technical Department and Target Markets to develop project opportunities and provide effective customer solutions.
  • Support the development of promotional and technical materials for targeted products and systems.
  • Monitor market developments and conduct market mapping, including customer mapping, project identification and competitor analysis.
  • Establish and monitor relevant KPIs to evaluate sales performance and business development progress.
  • Provide market and customer insights to support commercial strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable legislation, Sika policies, procedures and standards.
  • Treat Health & Safety as a priority and consistently act as a role model.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience within the construction market, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Previous experience in a technical sales, sales engineering or similar customer-facing role will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, project environment and key market stakeholders.
  • Strong business development mindset, with a clear focus on customer needs and results.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into appropriate commercial solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external customers.
  • Teamwork orientation and collaborative spirit.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
