As an IT Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with the Package Manager in the design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of critical Processing Systems. More specifically your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate airport operational needs into robust system requirements.
- Support the package manager in collecting and documenting requirements, ensuring their incorporation into design, and securing sign-offs.
- Liaise with sub-system providers to define and collect interface requirements for seamless application deployment and integration with airport infrastructure.
- Contribute to design value engineering in line with Greek and European standards.
- Review vendor-provided designs and actively participate in technical meetings.
- Monitor and report on installation works, ensuring adherence to design specifications and relevant local & international standards.
- Coordinate and manage sub-contractor activities, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Resolve site-level issues and coordinate with non-IT contractors to ensure IT-related readiness.
- Monitor material status and validate deliveries against contractual agreements.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to management.
- Ensure rigorous quality control of materials and workmanship, including inspection and verification of equipment and systems.
- Conduct all necessary tests and arrange training as per project requirements.
In order for your profile to match this IT Systems Engineer position, you need to have the following:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in executing complex IT projects.
- Demonstrable exposure to projects or operations involving the aforementioned airport systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as a valued member of a high-performing team.
- Fluency in English
- Degree in IT or related field
- Familiarity with IT Systems, such us CUPPS, CUSS, BRS, MDS, FIDS, AODB, ACDM, and IMB, will be considered an asset.
