What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Analysis and design of a communication system with focus on tactical communication systems (land, naval, air), 4G/5G, fiber-optic and satellite systems.
• Specification of physical and functional system architecture.
• Coordination of design, development (prototyping), integration and testing/verification activities over the complete communication system lifecycle.
• Contribution to system design documentation and product documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• 5-year Diploma/Integrated Master in Electrical & Computer Engineering (with Major in Communications preferably) or University Degree with a MSc in Communications or Networking/Data Communications.
• Knowledge and experience with various wired (Ethernet-based) and wireless communication systems & networks (LAN/WAN), protocols (OSI, TCP/IP) & interfaces, cybersecurity policies.

Desired:

• Experience in design, development, integration, testing and verification of communication systems (classified at different security levels).
• Experience in design, implementation & field deployment of communications infrastructure projects.

Key Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and motivation to drive results.
• Very good planning and time-management skills.
• High sense of accountability and great ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
