DevOps Engineer (Sports Betting)
Join Bally's Intralot as a DevOps Engineer!
Your Role: As a DevOps Engineer at Bally's Intralot, you will take a key role in supporting and evolving the infrastructure behind our global sports betting platforms, where performance and real-time data matter.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Contribute to the design and maintenance of secure, robust, and high-performance infrastructure for our global gaming platforms.
Take ownership of building and configuring environments end-to-end — from a freshly provisioned server to a fully operational, production-ready setup.
Automate infrastructure configuration and deployment using Ansible, ensuring consistency and reliability across a large fleet of servers.
Help implement and refine CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
Assist in maintaining cloud environments (AWS or Azure) to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Optimize and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
Help optimize real-time data flows and messaging systems using Kafka.
Work closely with software teams to promote a DevOps-first culture.
To thrive in this role, you should meet these qualifications:
Strong, hands-on experience with Ansible, including writing and maintaining playbooks at scale.
Demonstrated experience building a production environment from scratch, not just maintaining one.
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux systems.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and spoken.
